This is the method way we used to choose the winners of our giveaway. For Instagram we used a random winner generator where some requisites for winning are input, in this case liking the post and following and then we checked the winner had shared our post manually through Instagram.
The random winner generator initially selected another account at first who had unfortunately not fulfilled the post sharing aspect of the competition criteria, so please next time make sure you follow all giveaway entry steps. Regarding Facebook, no sufficient random winner generator exists but as the number of participants was low, we used a random number generator instead and then counted through the likes. Likewise we had to check all conditions had been met, making sure the individual selected also follows our Facebook page.
