James Bond Movie “Spectre” filmed by Thames RIB Experience

We have the fastest London speedboats & therefore Thames RIB Experience were approached to supply a crewed camera boat fast and professional enough to shoot the high speed boat chase on the River Thames in the last James Bond Movie Spectre, with Daniel Craig.

Our then newest vessel “Exterminator”, only weeks old was rigged up with a huge camera crane and film crew (including Director Sam Mendes). Her huge 740 horsepower twin turbo engines were powerful enough to film Daniel Craig driving the hero boat whilst chasing the helicopter down the River Thames until it finally crashed into Westminster Bridge.

This scene took 5 nights to shoot, requiring full river closures because of the high intensity of the scene being filmed at speed through the London Bridges and resulted in the ultimate ending of the Spectre Movie.

All of you can feel like Bond or Miss Moneypenny later in the year, by coming onboard our iconic Black & Yellow Thames Speedboats and be blasted down the River Thames in time for the release of the new James Bond film “No Time to Die”.
